This course examines the relationship between SUD and mental disorders, including DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. It includes: depressive disorders Bi-polar I Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), feeding and eating disorders, substance-related disorders, cross-cutting topics: suicide and trauma, including combat related trauma.
This course is based on the reading-based online article, TIP 42 Co-Occurring Disorder Chapter 4-Diagnostic and Cross Cutting Topics created by SAMHSA in 2020.
