Anna Hollis, Ph.D., NCSP, is a nationally certified School Psychologist, currently practicing in Detroit, Michigan. She is licensed as a psychologist and certified as a school psychologist to practice in 2 states (Michigan and South Carolina). She is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP); the Michigan Association of School Psychologists (MASP); and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). Dr. Hollis obtained her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Her professional interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Positive Psychology; Trauma-Informed Practice; and Urban School Psychology.

  1. Identify and discuss the historical roots and milestones of behavioral health recovery.
  2. Describe and discuss basic recovery-oriented values and principles which form the basis for the recovery-to-practice movement, including SAMHSA’s Guiding Principles of Recovery.

  3. Describe and discuss the recovery-to-practice competencies discussed in this webinar, including the competencies discussed from the Council for Social Work Education (CSWE).
