About the Course

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a brief intervention for mandated students in the context of the University Assistance Program, a Student Assistance Program developed and modeled after workplace Employee Assistance Programs.

  2. Describe the method employed by researchers studying a University Assistance Program for alcohol use among mandated students.
  3. Discuss study results, including changes in drinking rates on weekdays and weekends, heavy episodic drinking, and blood alcohol concentration.
