Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Professional Counselors, as set forth by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
24 hours of continuing education and pass the jurisprudence examination during each renewal period they hold a license.
A licensee must complete at least six hours of continuing education in ethics each renewal period. Completion of the jurisprudence examination will count as one hour of continuing education in Texas LPC ethics. A licensee must also complete 3 hours in cultural diversity or competency.
Our courses meet the Texas 50% rule.
A licensee holding the supervisor status must complete 6 hours of continuing education in “supervision”.
All licensees are required to undergo an HHSC approved human trafficking prevention training course as a condition of renewal, in accordance with Chapter 116 of the Occupations Code. We do not offer a course that meets this requirement. Approved training courses can be found on the Health Care Practitioner Human Trafficking Training webpage.

CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
