About the Course:
This course examines treatment considerations for special populations. It includes: racial/ethnic minority populations, women, men who have sex with men, transgender and gender nonbinary community, adolescents, people experiencing homelessness/unstable housing, rural populations, people involved in the criminal justice system, people taking medication for opioid use disorder, people who inject drugs, people living with HIV/AIDS, people with or at risk for Hepatitis, and individuals with co-occurring mental disorders.
This course is based on the reading-based online article, TIP 33 Treatment for Stimulant Use Disorders-Special Populations created by SAMHSA in 2021.
