About the Course:
A review article of the contributions of the fields of substance abuse treatment and family therapy for client care and the strategies of the two fields to work in conjunction with one another. The course will present some of the basic theories, concepts, and techniques from each field so they can be applied in treatment regardless of the setting or theoretical orientation.
This course is based on Chapter 3 of (TIP 39) Substance Abuse Treatment And Family Therapy created by SAMHSA in 2015.
