About the Course:

Common Treatment Issues (Section VII) : From Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Adolescent Cannabis Users gives guidance for issues that are relevant to both individual and group therapy such as: Clients showing up high, threats to harm oneself or others, tardiness, and missed sessions. Issues that are aimed at group therapy only are: Disruptive behaviors in group session, breach of confidentiality, requests for individual attention outside of group sessions, and how to handle monopolizers in the cognitive behavioral therapy group sessions.
