Course Objectives:

  1. Acknowledge the estimated prevalence of behavioral symptoms of eating disorders in American Indian/Native American (AI/NA) young adult women and men and compare it to the estimated prevalence of these symptoms in White populations.

  2. Describe sex differences in the prevalence of eating disorder symptoms in AI/NA.

  3. Interpret limitations inherent in the Add Health survey for studying the prevalence of eating disorder symptoms.
