About the Course:
The Iraq War Clinician Guide was developed by members of the National Center for PTSD and the Department of Defense. Chapter 9 provides an overview of definitional issues and epidemiology and discusses the types of psychological responses that are associated with military sexual trauma. The authors also discuss screening, assessment, and treatment issues regarding sexual assault and harassment. This course covers Chapter 9 only.
This course is based on the reading-based online article, Iraq War Clinician Guide, Second Edition: Military Sexual Trauma: Issues in Caring for Veterans created by Amy Street, Ph.D., and Jane Stafford, Ph.D.
