About the Course:

This article discusses vocational rehabilitation and its history, briefly outlines its case management format, and discusses the limitations of the format. Addresses ways to incorporate VR staff into the aftercare process. Discusses partnership efforts in the state of Oregon between an American Indian-based treatment center and the Oregon Department of Human Services; Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Outlines suggestions to allow the reader to create and maintain ties for improving collaboration in their communities. NOTE Course material begins on page 85 of article.
