Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for psychologists as required by the California Board of Psychology.
36 credit hours at your licensure renewal date.
9 credit hours must be live. Live credits may be earned at https://www.makeanimpact.co/
Our courses, as an approved CE provider, are considered organized and directed learning experiences and are available for your 27 credit hours.
Only 18 credit hours of distant learning continuing education is allowed for the first time license renewal.
After 12/31/23, licensee will be required to take 4 credits in ethics and 4 credits in cultural diversity/social justice.
Effective 1/1/20: There will be a one time requirement of 6 hours in suicide /risk assessment.
