Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for psychologists as required by the D.C. Board of Psychology.
To qualify for the renewal of a license, an applicant shall complete thirty (30)
hours of valid continuing education during the two (2)-year period preceding the
date the license expires, which shall also meet the following requirements:
(a) At least fifteen (15) hours of valid continuing education shall be
completed in live program(s); and
three (3) hours in ethics
two (2) hours of LGBTQ
10% of total required hours in Public Health Priorities of the District of Columbia
15 credit hours may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
