AddictionCounselorCE.com distant learning course credits are accepted by MAAP.
Initial Certification
When selecting course from this site please be aware that education hours should be related to alcohol/drug counseling. MAAP allows up to 50% of the courses needed for initial licensure to be taken online.
CADC, CADC-I, CADC- II, CAADC and CCJP : 270 contact hours required. 135 contact hours may be earned through distant learning. Six (6) contact hours are required in both HIV and MAAP approved ethics.
Certification Renewal
MAAP now accepts a maximum of 50% of credits from online/distance learning courses.

Addiction Counselor CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC, and many ICRC certification boards. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.
