10 hours of your continuing education must be courses specifically approved by ADACBGA or IC&RC provider (https://adacbga.org/continuing-education/).
Renewal
For CADC-I, CADC – II, CAADC recertification requires 40 hours including 6 Hours of Ethics and 3 Hours of Trauma-Informed Care.
In addition:
CCS’s must also have six (6) of their hours pertain to the performance domains of clinical supervision.

ADACB of Georgia accepts up to 270 hours of our distant learning courses for initial certification. Please be sure to check Board regulations regarding specific content requirements for initial certification.

At least six (6) hours of didactic training in Counselor Development, Professional & Ethical Standards of the Clinical Supervisor, Program Development & Quality Assurance, Assessing Counselor Competencies & Performance and Treatment Knowledge. Not less than 50% of all didactic training hours for initial CCS certification must be from live, synchronous, and interactive educational training events. A total of 30 hours of education related to the five (5) clinical supervision performance domains must be documented by copies of transcripts or certificates of attendance.
