Beginning January 1st, 2017 marriage and family therapists must complete a minimum of forty-five (45) credit hours of continuing education courses within the three-year period preceding the renewal date of December 31st, 2019; provided that a minimum of six (6) credit hours shall be in ethics courses.
A first-time licensee shall not be subject to the continuing education requirement
