Recertification/Renewal
Recertification (also called renewal) is required every two years.
The Certification Board allows for all of a credential’s recertification requirements to be in distance learning.
Initial Credential/Certification
The Certification Board does not allow distance learning for ‘initial’ credentialing coursework for the Board’s transcript verification certificate unless the training is part of a pre-approved matriculated degree from an accredited college or university.
