Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for social workers, as set forth by the Connecticut Department of Health. Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020).
15 hours during each registration period. 6 hours can be taken with CE-credit.com.
1 hour of Cultural Competency.
During your first renewal you must complete at least two contact hours of training or education (and not less than once every six years thereafter) on the topic of mental health conditions common to veterans and family members of veterans, including (A) determining whether a patient is a veteran or family member of a veteran, (B) screening for conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder, risk of suicide, depression and grief, and © suicide prevention training. Qualifying continuing education activities.
Renewal is the last day of the month of the licensee’s date of birth.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
