Licensed Clinical Social Worker: Completed 40 hours of continuing education directly related to your professional practice, of which at least 6 hours must be in the area of professional ethics, law, or technology and 2 hours in suicide prevention.
Certified Social Worker / Social Service Worker: Completed 20 hours of continuing education directly related to your professional practice, of which at least 6 hours must be in the area of professional ethics, law or technology and 2 hours in suicide prevention.Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for clinical social workers, as set forth by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
