Our distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for addiction counselors, as set forth by the Missouri Substance Abuse Counselors’ Certification Board.

CADC
Initial Certification
Certification hours that can be homestudy/online courses.
180 Contact Hours of Education to include the following:
6 “Live” ethics hours (not from online or home study)
20 hours obtained within the last 12 months
40 renewal CE credit hours every odd year by October. Thirty-four (34) hours can be distance learning, and 6 hours of must be a live ethics course.
CRADC
Initial Certification

300 Contact Hours of Education to include the following:
6 “Live” ethics hours (not from online or home study)
20 hours obtained within the last 12 months

20 renewal CE credit hours, including 3 live ethics credits, every year.
Addiction Counselor CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC and many ICRC certification boards. Our courses are endorsed by Missouri Substance Abuse Counselors’ Certification Board. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.
