Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for psychologists as set forth by the Board of Psychological Examiners.
30 credit hours by December 31 every even year
15 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
At least 6 hours required in ethics. At least 2 hours must include instruction in evidence-based suicide prevention and awareness. At least 2 hours must be in the area of cultural competency.
