Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Professional Counselors, as set forth by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
40 continuing education credits by June 30th.
3 credits must be in ethics.
5 credits must be from the state provided jurisprudence exam (which counts as ethics).
An LCMHCS must also have 10 additional credits in clinical supervision.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC #5951). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.

Supervision, 10 CE credit hours
LPCS renewals must provide additional documentation of a minimum of ten (10) contact hours of continuing education training related to professional knowledge and competency in the field of counseling supervision. These contact hours are in addition to the forty (40) contact hours already required for a total of fifty (50).
