Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers as set forth by the Missouri State Committee for Social Workers.
30 credit hours every two years during licensure renewal.
15 credit hours may be formal self-study (distant learning / homestudy) courses from an approved provider. The 15-hour limit of correspondence courses have been waived for the 2024-2025 renewal cycle
3 credit hours of ethics presented by a social worker who has graduated from an accredited school of social work or by a professional who has knowledge of ethics as it relates to the practice of social work. We CAN provide that course.
2 credit hours in suicide prevention.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
