Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
40 credit hours are required for every two year renewal period. A licensee can earn up to 20 (category II) continuing education units from home study programs.
Three (3) Category I or Category II continuing education units, in the content area focusing on ethics and professional conduct, including boundary issues.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
