Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Workers.
License renews on birthday in even year.
30 credit hours by LICSWs, 20 credit hours by LCSWs, 15 credit hours by LSWs, and 10 credit hours by LSWAs.
Licensees must complete the following CE each licensing cycle:
two (2) CE hours in anti-racism with a focus on oppression, and one (1) CE hour in anti-discrimination, addressing oppression because of ethnicity, national origin, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, political belief, religion, immigration status, and/or mental or physical ability.All CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
