A counselor may obtain the 20 of the 40 CEHs through one or more of the options listed below.
Effective July 1, 2014 a maximum of 20 CEHs may be obtained through an online format, with the exception of coursework obtained through a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
3 Credit Hours must be in Ethics.
6 clock hours must be accrued in diagnosis (assessment, diagnosis, and treatment under the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, as published by the American Psychiatric Association).
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Addiction Counselor CE is a service division of CE Learning Systems.
Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for professional counselors as set forth by the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners.
