About the Course:

This course examines common medications for disorders in treatment for people with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. It includes: pharmacologic risk factors, a stepwise treatment model, and psychotherapeutic medications-what every counselor should know.

This course is based on the reading-based online, TIP 42-Substance Abuse Treatment for Persons With Co-Occurring Disorders-Pharmacology created by SAMHSA in 2013.
