About the Course:

Adding or Improving Hepatitis Services: A Guide for Administrators (TIP 53, Chapter 7): Addressing Viral Hepatitis in People With Substance Abuse Disorders reveals that a significant positive correlation has been found between administrators’ beliefs about the value of hepatitis services and the availability of hepatitis-related services at their substance abuse treatment programs. This course will cover: Program assessment and planning, screening for viral hepatitis, treatment for chronic hepatitis, prevention and vaccination, integrating hepatitis interventions with existing HIV services, and legal and ethical issues.
