About the Course:

Gay men receive conflicting messages when it comes to sex: They are supposed to be liberated yet responsible, experimental yet safe, at once sex-positive and monogamous. Given these social tensions surrounding the most personal of human experiences, it’s no wonder that one of the most difficult aspects of sex addiction among gay men is determining whether you’re actually suffering from it. Rob Weiss in Cruise Control: Understanding Sex Addiction in Gay Men will help readers take stock of their lives to decide if they are sexually addicted. Men suffering from sexual addiction will discover the means to distinguish between sexual compulsion and healthy, nonaddictive sexual behavior.

This course is based on the book, Cruise Control: Understanding Sex Addiction in Gay Men created by Robert Weiss, MSW, CAS
