After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. Identify methods for assessing craving and the potential clinical benefits of assessment.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of the defining features of cravings and the implications for treatment.
  3. Understand the role of craving in unhealthy alcohol use and relapse.
  4. Understand the importance of inter-connected approach and avoidance inclinations in the phenomena of craving.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of the behavioral, cognitive and physiological components of craving.
