After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. To be able to explain why teen girls are susceptible to developing depression, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse, and why they are so vulnerable to sexual abuse
  2. To understand the many psychosocial factors that contribute to the development of psychological problems in teen girls
  3. To be better able to develop therapeutic relationships with teen girls
