About the Course:

While focusing primarily on substance abuse and treatment, French provides historical and cultural context for AODA treatment in four North American Indian tribes; the Cherokee, Sioux, Navajo, and Mestizo. He provides an explanation of how successful treatment should be based on an integration of tribal spirituality, traditional remedies, and counseling.
