Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, Counselors, and MFTs, as set forth by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
30 credit hours are required. All 30 hours can be completed online.
3 hours must be in ethics.
3 hours of supervision training only for licensees with training supervision designation.
Social Work Assistants are not required to take 3 hours of ethics.
Effective for renewals on or after 4/5/2023, SWAs will only be required to complete 15 hours of continuing education hours, three hours of which must be in ethics.
