About the Course:

Women with co-occurring mental and substance use disorders in contact with the justice system, especially those with young children, represent a particularly vulnerable population with multiple needs. Diversion programs provide alternatives to jail with access to community treatment services and support. This publication addresses diversion programming and integrating treatment with criminal justice sanctions for women with co-occurring disorders.
