AddictionCounselorCE.com distant learning course credits are accepted by the WBHP.
RenewalRenewal hours must be “relevant to substance abuse counselors”. Clinical Supervisors are required to earn 6 hours in supervision.
Initial Licensure
For initial licensure of “Substance Abuse Counselors in Training” WBHP accepts up to 100 hours of our distant learning courses. For initial licensure of new Substance Abuse Counselors and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselors WBHP does not accept our distant learning courses. Please be sure to check Board regulations regarding specific content requirements for initial licensure.
Addiction Counselor CE is a service of CE Learning Systems. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC (#410) and many ICRC certification boards. CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
