Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for MFT’s, LPC’s, as set forth by the Wisconsin Bureau of Health Service Professions.
NOTE: Please Note: For the biennium that begins July 1, 2007 and ends February 28, 2009, only 25 continuing education credit hours are required. Of those, 15 credit hours must be in professional counselor continuing education programs, pursuant to s. MPSW 14.04 (1) through (5) of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code . Four of those 15 credit hours must be in professional counselor ethics and professional boundaries. Thereafter, 30 credit hours are required.
At least 4 of the 30 credits need to be in “professional counselor ethics and professional boundaries”.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020) and National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC #5951) and American Psychological Association (APA). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
