Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Virginia Board of Social Work.
30 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses. Per phone conversation with staff of the Board, all of our distant learning courses would be counted as Category I.
2 hours must be in ethics
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
