Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Texas Board of Social Work Examiners.
15 credit hours (1.5 CEUs) annually by licensure expiration date, with 30 credit hours every two years ready for auditing.
10 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
3 credit hours in ethics required every year.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
