Approval for Social Workers in Mississippi

Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are NOT automatically available for continuing education credit for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists, as set forth by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapy.

Four (4) SWUs (40 hours) is required for each renewal period. Licensed professionals must submit a listing of that period’s credits with a notarized statement that the list is true and correct.

Individual activity and the credit for the activity must be approved by MS NASW in advance. No more than two (2) SWUs (20 hours) may be accrued in a given licensure renewal period, as a result of individual activities.

Completing continuing education credits at this site are considered individual activity and must received prior approval from MS NASW (601-936-0557).

If you seek prior approval from MS NASW (601-936-0557) in advance, remind them we are approved providers of ASWB #1020 and that all our courses have a post-test exam.
