Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers as set forth by the Missouri State Committee for Social Workers.
30 credit hours every two years during licensure renewal.
15 credit hours may be formal self-study (distant learning / homestudy) courses from an approved provider. ONLY 7.5 hours of the 15 credit hours can be earned each year.
3 credit hours of an ethic course presented by a social worker with a master’s level degree or higher. We CAN provide that course.
You also need at least 1.5 clock hours on your state licensure statute/rules review. This must be presented by a member of the State Committee for Social Workers.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
