Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Michigan Board of Social Work.

45 credits every 3 years by April, 30 for every licensed Master’s and Bachelor’s social worker.

5 credit hours must be earned in ethics and 1 credit hour needs to be in pain and pain symptom management (e.g., behavior management, psychology of pain, stress management).

10 CE credits may be online articles. The other 35 CE credits can be earned through our homestudy courses.

45 CE credits may be (homestudy/book) courses. When completing a homestudy/book course, enter on the certificate customization line the following: “Homestudy/Book Course”.

Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.

Cycle: Renewal every 3 years
Next Renewal: Apr 30, 2009
